Newtek Product Showcase tour has started today, and it features Video Toaster [2] and LightWave3D [7.5] with a focus on their bundles with eyeon Software's Digital Fusion. The tour will visit North America and Hawaii (26 cities). More details below:

San Antonio, Texas (Sep. 30, 2002) -- NewTek, Inc. today announced the NewTek Product Showcase, an evening event to introduce the latest NewTek technologies for video and graphics production. The tour will present Video Toaster [2] and LightWave 3D [7.5], with a special focus on the recently announced NewTek/eyeon Software bundles of Video Toaster [2] and LightWave 3D with Digital Fusion(R) 4 and DFX+. The tour will visit 26 cities in North America and Hawaii this fall and winter.

"We think seeing is believing, and you can't really understand just how amazingly cool the current NewTek product line is by just reading about it, or seeing specs on the internet." said Tim Jenison, NewTek Founder and Chairman. "That's why we're coming to city near you to give you a chance to take a first hand look at incredible products that we make sure you can actually afford - we think you'll see why NewTek customers become rabid fans."

Each Event On The NewTek Product Showcase Tour Will Feature:

Product Demonstrations of the Video Toaster [2], LightWave 3D, and the new VT[2] Graphics Systems, which feature compositing software like eyeon software's Digital Fusion and DFX+.

Practical hints and down to earth advice from product experts on solutions for videographers, animators, and educational professionals.

A chance to get questions answered and meet local NewTek authorized dealers

Free giveaways

And more!

"We just set up a new animation facility," said Emile Edwin Smith of Zoic FX, in Los Angeles, "And the first thing we bought was sixteen Video Toasters that we could put on each of our animators' desks."

"Going to a Video Toaster [2] Demo can be hazardous to your wallet and mind," said Julian Tamez, of Houston, TX. "You have been fairly warned! I had promised myself to wait before purchasing my second edit suite until NAB. There was an Expo in Houston, where I got the demo of my life. I was truly blown away. I ordered one on the spot."
