"More Than Human"

I made several sketches of the worker's garments. It's just simple clothing with one extra feature. Indent for wings must be on the back of the shirt and the jacket.

Later I made a colored sketch of the scene. I didn't work out any details at all just picked up gamma. Depth of scene vanishes at bright day light. So, foreground and background are separated by color. Foreground was designed to be gray-blue and background silver-gold. Background was thought to be lighter.

It was hard to me draw right human poses in 2D. I didnt find photos that can be used for an example. So, I used Poser for pre-visualization (Yes, I know the rules Poser's models cant be used in the final version but this was only pre-viz). I made a simple 3D scene with Posers models. It was just a test of composition and perspective.

Characters

For a worker I used common technique: polygonal modeling and smoothing then result completed with MeshSmooth. The body was made from cylinders.
