Interview with Sedley Brown, the head of 3D at the NVFilm
Added on: Wed Aug 04 2004
Page: 1 2 3 5 6

3dluvr: As I heard you have been working for the MTV recently. Colud you tell us something about that commercial?

Sedley Brown: The two MTV commercials that we have recently completed were for an advertisement of new seasons of established MTV shows such as The Osbournes, TRL, Dirty Sanchez and Punk'd. Four images from each programme are animated onto the screen from four boxes. The titles then dissovle up onto screen. The titles in between the edit and motion graphics of the commercial were created in Lightwave and then composited in After Effects.

3dluvr: As the head of the production, what do you think about the importance of the quality of the work and maintaining the good relationship with the clients?

Sedley Brown: The quality of work and the relationship with clients is of equal paramount importance. The quality of the work is only defined by yourself, so you must make sure that it is at a standard that is acceptable. Of course the client must also be happy with it, but that is something that goes without saying.
