Final and Troubleshooting
After assigning the material to the model, and rendering from the Perspective viewport, you should get something like the image at the top, if not, here are some things you could try:
1. Go through all the settings in the render window, and the material editor.
2. Check the checkboxes under the mental ray tab, under the models properties.
3. Check the light settings.
4. Try to increase the Energy amount for the light, by deselecting the Use Global Settings checkbox under the mental ray Indirect Illumination rollout, marking the On checkbox, and fire a bit up for the Energy value (Start with 140000 or something like that.. )
The scene file is HERE.

You can E-mail me if you have any questions, but if I dont answer its because:
a) I deleted your mail with my spam mail (So be careful about title of the mail, maybe write 3D: in the beginning)
b) You can find the answer in the tutorial (No offence, but I dont have that much time..)
c) Your mail never made it (Re-send if no answer in a week)
d) Im too busy (Long questions take long answers, thats ok, but dont be too quick to re-send, I dont reply to copied mails)
