In the top view click and drag to generate the target camera and drop the target into the center of the sphere that we've created, like the image shows: (press "c" at the perspective viewport so u can see what the camera sees).

Then in the left viewport move the sphere until you can see it in the camera view like this:

Well, lets continue animating the surface (sphere). To create a realistic look for moving waves we have to create a "wave" space warp.
Go to the create panel again ang find the "space warps" button and select from the menu: "geometric-deformable"
