Other parts are also mapped at the same time...
The materials used have little Bump maps instanced from the diffuse maps (excepting the eye, of course :) the eye has a Reflect/Refract map, and a little self-illumination.
It's almost done, but I have to get them together again :)
All is Collapsed to Mesh again ( ! ) , than attached each. Beautiful...
Now, I must weld the coincident vertices again, to obtain a smooth surface. I used Mesh Select for finding the right line of vertices. The face is selected as Element:
