Techbits

Greg
Techbits are a brain child of Greg Hess, who initially started them on the Discreet Forum, then moved them here to a permanent home; they are gathered, (chewed up) and processed by Greg Hess and Thomas Bruno, an all around good guys, hardware experts and 3DLuVr staff/contributing authors.

130 USD for a 420 watt powersupply, a painted antec alumnium case...with a giant window on the side. Somebody hold me back.

Sometimes you just need to tip the hat, put in a new feather, and remind everyone who the boss is. Anand makes a statement with a KT333 "roundup" doing what he does best...motherboards.

Everyone likes to go fast, just no one wants to pay for gas. Looks like the new PC1066 Rambus chips are going to be extremely expensive. Be careful buying this stuff in case someone forces you to use it, many crap retailers are remarking PC800 Rambus as PC1066 and selling it for a GREATLY reduced price. If you think your about to get a good deal on some PC1066, make sure you can return it.

64 bit pci all its cracked up to be? If so you probably need a new motherboard, I don't think the slot is supposed to be cracked.

What? Whats that? Seems like Intel is handing Amd a tall glass of shut the hell up, in processor megahertz that is. With the advent of the 2.66 P4, a variety of Intel price cuts will be coming this way. So watch out, cause prices are about to go all austin powers like. Crazy.
